HAVEN in KANDY "THEVA RESIDENCY"

I am going to call it the haven in Kandy “Theva residency “ one of the most beautiful places we have visited and now it has become our favorite place in Sri Lanka. Not only because it is a luxury boutique hotel but it also offers a calmness and a healing environment.

Speaking about the staff- we have know words to tell how kind they are ! We were treated like a king and queen! I think this is best part of this beautiful place - this wonderful full people. We have travelled to many places around the island but never felt this hospitality anywhere else !

The other wonderful thing at the hotel is the food . They offer a meat free menu focusing more on vegetarian with also a seafood selection.

We loved the home made sorbets and ice creams!

The Sri Lankan breakfast was a huge collection of hoppers, string hoppers, rotti, kiribath and imbul kiribath with so many delicious curries.

It was a rainy day when we visited Theva residency . The wind was roaring all night and we spent time in the room over looking the Kandy city and the beautiful Hantana mountain range.

I want to thank Ms.Dheeshana Ameresekere, Mr. Russell Leonard , Mr. Ekanayake and the rest of the theva team for making our holiday special. Hope to visit you again and again!
