Idalgashinna the most beautiful railway station and scenic treks in Sri Lanka. The weather is amazing and all ways changing sunny to misty.some times mist covers the satiation.

Idalgashinna railway station is 68th station on the main line of the railway Sri Lanka and located between Haputale and Ohiya railway satanic in Badulla district, Uva province.

it is located 8km west of Haputhale at an elevation of 1615 meters above sea level.

you can see beautiful views around especially if get on to the mountain near by on station but unfortunately we didn’t see view very well because of the misty. Idalgashinne mountain it is 6th tallest mountain in Uva province of Sri Lanka.

The station was built in 1893 and it is serviced by the express train such as podi menike, udarata menike and night mail train.
