Narangala

The golden peak

Nearly for two months we traped in at colombo because of the corona pandemic.but suddenly we got a chance to come to my husband's house .Then we got another chance to travel Narangala because one of our friend told us he needed some pictures of Narangala for his new project.

Narangala has two entrances ,one on the Thangamale devalaya side and onother on the keenakale side.Narangala is the incredible golden mountain .you cano hiking ,scenery ,trekking,photograph and camping.

so early(not very early because of the curfew .we leave sharply at 5 am at home.) Morning we packed our stuff and headed towrds Kandegedara and reached keenakele.After reaching the location we halt our bicks at the Thangamale watta.Then we were stat to climb the tea estate until we met a small Budu madura.Then we clib in a straight line from there on wards.

Narangala is a second tallest mountain in the UVA region.Beautiful Narangala rises up to a height of over 1500m, On the top of the golden peak you can experience the amazing nature and magnificent views .The shade of its light golden color is the reason why its called "the golden peak."

Narangala consits of two section the upper section and section part.Where you reach the upper section of the Narangala mountain you will be able to witness the most spectacuiar scenery you have ever seen in your life.From this point onward it was an endless view towards Madulsima,Badull and Namunukula areas.From one side Randenigala mountain ,Rantabe reservior and Uma oya joining it could be seen.Other landmarks we noted were Knucklesrange(Yahanagala,Kehelpothdoruwa ,Lakegala,kalupahana )Hasalaka,MAhiyanganaya,Sorabora,lokgaloy reservation ,Mahavali river., Ulhitiya,Kokagala,Kandaketiya paddy fields , Madolsima range,Madapathana, Badulla town ,Namunukula,Maragalakanda,Kandegedara plenty of tea state ,Ella rock, Haputhale,Idalgashinna,Walimada,Thotupala,Ragala and may others landmarks .

If you could able to reach there in the eary morning you will be abale to catch a glimpse of the wonderful sunrise.

Dont foget to tak water

Do not carry plastic items (place bring back everything you took)

Don't disturb wild life

Ask direction from locals and support local business

If thundering do not attempt to climb up
